Stocking, stockings, stockings!

Mysteriously, our stockings disappeared this year. (I think there is a container of Christmas stuff gone rogue). It was somewhat fortuitous because I wanted to get both boys' stockings to match and since Kevin and mine are gone I was able to get all of them matching with our names embroidered. Even better that that I got free embroidering and shipping! I guess it was meant to be.

The only dilemma was whether to put "Dad" and "Mom" on ours but I decided that someday ouG & H will be gone and I might want to go by my God-given name and call my husband by his :)

Our tree is lit, our halls are decked, and our stockings are hanging in anticipation of the little surprises they will bring on Christmas morn'.

Baby Henry Arrives!

We had our second little man one week ago today, welcome baby Henry James! It was a far different experience for us all and is continuing to be as he is his own little person. His big bro loves him so much he practically squeals when Henry moves or looks at him.

More photos of the new little.

And We're Back

Yikes, it's been a while since I posted anything. Fall always brings about a surge in me to write, among other things. I think it must be related to all the years of gearing up for school to start. Plus, I'm really not a summer person (at all) so when the weather gets cool, I get happy and feel energized.

So what's been happening here in the Clement household? Most people are likely aware, but we're expecting another little boy sometime around November 4th! We'll be naming him Henry James. We're pretty much ready for his arrival and are just trying to get through the oh-so-not-fun last month of pregnancy, which, by the way, I've never experienced. Ouch.

Additionally, Gray turned three this September and started preschool! Actually, it's a two to three year old preschool since he missed the cut off for age, and we haven't tackled the big boy potty yet. The decision stemmed from me needing a little time to myself and him needing something outside of our normal routine that allowed him to be with other kids, learn and have lots of fun. He loves it!

Kevin is now working in a new team but still in Exchange. It's SUPER busy for him and he's tired but it is also very exciting so I think he really enjoys it.

I guess that catches us up to now. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but we'll let that slide on account of pregnancy related absentmindedness.

Food for Thought

Have you thought about your food lately? At the risk of sounding radical I just have to recommend that you do. Do you know where your food comes from? Do you know how it was genetically engineered? Do you know how it was raised and slaughtered? (the four major farm corporations are shockingly inhumane) Do you know just how much altered food we eat? You should. I won't stand on my soapbox too long because there are some informative movies (Food, Inc.) and books (Omnivores Dilemma) that can explain everything.

Take a little time, learn about what you eat. It will be the healthiest thing you ever do for your body and hopefully your food.
